Green only green and white,
The fermented light
Does slurry forth onto the mound,
Indenting still with heavy,
Mottled presence,
Some bleary image in mine eyes.
Those eyes,
An aimless trance their crypt,
Vague dove-dragged visions crumble,
Beneath some other's piercing glance.
Death to hope
For when the dust has fallen,
My mind magnifies no great magnificence,
I fade
Like others, like us, like them,
Dropping drab and pallid onto the dust,
Muffling my gentle collapse,
Of heart and hand laid down eternal,
Like every other ounce of flesh.
The ripened hue does disintegrate,
Chilled cheek to green,
Only green and white.
Listening to silence by Forgottenflowerny, literature
Literature
Listening to silence
Ringing is set off,
When all that's heard is silence,
Bells begin to toll within
You wonder if it's real
Bird calls do not sound,
The world is dead?
You wonder,
And yet you hear the floorboards creak,
Voices merge beneath the stairs
You can still hear it,
The silence,
And you wonder if you're real.
My exams are thankfully over, as is the worry I had to endure over whether or not they went well. I can happily say that I got into my first choice university and will be studying Natural Sciences at Durham in October! :) I also recently visited my grandparents in the beautiful country where I hail from, Lithuania.Visit if you can, you will never see so much forest in a capital city :)
I've had some comments lol, I think that more people will get to see my artwork as time goes on I guess. At the moment I'm working on a piece for a contest where you draw whatever comes into your head as you listen to the music :D
Hi Ernesta! thanks for the comments and the faves to hear such nice things from a Marillier fan always make my day! btw, love your haircut, I miss my bangs*sigh*
